My kids love it. - I don’t know why there aren’t more downloads, this is one of my favorite children’s stories on Google Play!
Wish there were more kids stories like this! - A little glitchy at times. Great kids story. My son enjoyed this from 3-5 years so far.
Great for my 2 years old -
Food fight - Brilliant
great - Kids love this one. I think the interactivey is superb, and the graphics are beautifully done. Can’t wait for your next release.
Buenisimo - el mejor libro con diferencia pena que solo haya uno de este tipo. Se SALE.
Excellent app… Love it.
Excellent - Love the animation and quality. My kids request “the story reader” in preference to dad…
Food Fight - my Daughter loves sausages just as much as Tim.. nice story.
Fantastic interactive app - My eldest ASD son simply LOVES this book – its one of his all time favourites. Its brightly coloured and has good interactive functioning. Thank you so very much to Jelly Biscuits for offering this app during the “A4cwsn app party”! Well done!
Great Quirky Story - Great story with fun animations. My little man loves it – esp. zooming in on the rocket ship to watch it blast off. Looking forward to more apps from this developer.
Fantastic fun - Very engaging. Loves looking for the hidden stars and animations.
fun story - I think this story is well-done – the illustrations are beautiful and I like how the words are highlighted when read.
My son 3 years old, loved this book so much. He’s got addicted to it. Listens more than once with the auto page flip and “read to me” options. Thank You Grant Adam and Glenn Melennhorst. ~MarvFali Sri Lanka
Really funny this book, you can press on each side of any of these things and then moves was …
The story is also really funny, even if they are twisted a bit: D oh yeah, good to learn English, she is ^ ^ ~Jonathan Schneeweiss Germany
Although I speak German I have found it very sweet ~Mr. Dullipulli Austria.
This is a fantastic, interactive, and fun book! My son loves having the book read to him (thru the app). This is the way I wish all children’s books were done. So many fun ‘hotspots’ to touch. ~AutismEpicenter.com
A great book for my kid.

Great little story – My 4 year old loves it
love the story, and the app is lots of fun. A bit small on the iPhone screen, but perfectly readable. I love the option of reading it, or having the narration take over. ~Seán O’L
My son absolutely loves the food fight book. I not only downloaded the iPhone version but the mac app as well (so he can see it on a bigger screen). He just loves it and I would love to buy more books like this one. I hope that you will be creating more books real soon. -email
Wonderful! Brilliant! (Mac app store)
The story is fun, the illustrations are gorgeous, the animations are totally cute. This is one of the best apps I’ve downloaded yet for kids. The options are great and allow the book to work for different aged kids:
read it to me/ read it myself
flip pages for me/ flip myself
the star hunt game is fun (and challenging) ~Casey Lunule
My kids really liked it (Mac app store)
I was also pleasantly surprised to find it narrated by an Australian (but that’s just me). Some people like their kids stories heavily sanitized, so if you object to the idea of a little boy who eats sausages being confronted by a sausage that eats little boys, skip this one. ~Luke Burton
Great and charming book
My son loved this book! A charming book lovely art style and humorous. The animations are a very nice touch. The other review complaining about costs should realize artists need to eat too. This book is cheaper and more interactive than a picture book at Barnes and Noble. Recommend this for K to 2nd grade. ~Christina Whalen
Every week I download another book from the App Store to read to my kid at night. And I constantly encounter apps which are listed as books, but are really crappily retold stories with nothing but cheap tricks and animations to “keep kids interested”. This is totally unnecessary. My two year old is perfectly capable of paying attention to a bedtime story without a “color in this page!”-type interruption every few seconds. So I want to say THANK YOU for your book and format, and restraint with the whizz-bang effects. Please make more and ignore the App Store idiots! ~T Aspiala
Great story, great illustrations, and the interactivity is there but not distracting from the book itself. Want constant animation and activities? There are plenty of kids apps with coloring and puzzles covering up crappy content. This is the real deal, and my two year old loves it, wants it read to her every night. And compared to buying yet another paper book that my kid will get tired of in a week, the price is a steal.
Note to “should be free because it has no games”-guy: just think how long it took to make the illustrations for this alone, compared to the usual cut-and-paste trash you see in other gee-whiz kids’ apps. This is comparable to a REAL quality kids’ storybook, which usually costs around $12 at least. Just because it’s digital doesn’t mean it should be free. You try drawing this well.. ~Veltis
What a wonderful book, the app is great but it would be brilliant if you’d add your voice to it. My 4 year old granddaughter can’t leave it alone.
Kind regards, ~Coreen
This is the nicest interactive story book I have purchased so far.
Beautiful illustrations that all interact in some way, whether it be sound or motion. I have a 3 year old that refuses to eat vegetables and I’m hoping that after some time with this app things change. Either way this was a great purchase and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys this new format of children’s stories. Great job! ~ BigDupa
What a great app.
A lot of fun and very well illustrated with fun interactivity. Good luck with this app I would even payed more for it. I am now a fan an look forward to more fun books like it… I should probably read it to my kid now. I was hoarding it. The graphic are great too. I have been in the animation field for ten years paint backgrounds and who ever says it not quality work is ridiculously wrong. ~joe spat
This book is fun to see your baby, your baby can learn English from childhood, if the program can be coupled with voice, then all the better. Hope that some developers that quality again. ~TianmingMa
One of the best.
I’ve read some other books on here and they’ve all felt bland…like they were just books placed onto iOS without much added. This book actually makes you tap around to FIND what’s interactive. I loved the book and the bonus page after you find the five stars hidden in the book is a nice addition. I’d gladly pay this much for more like it. People complaining about the price have apparently never strolled through barnes and noble’s children’s section ~Toaster Driver
And here is some of the feedback from when the book was released in hardback as ‘Little boys’.
…was recently at a meeting with a client, who brought out the book to show everyone sitting around the table. It went around person-by-person (all adults) who sat reading it right through, drinking in the pictures… needless to say it extended the meeting by about 45 minutes, which is great as I’m paid on an hourly basis The book truly is great…
Just a quick note to let you know how much your book “Little Boys” is enjoyed by myself and my friend’s son Daniel (he’s 4 and a half).
Daniel isn’t much of a reader, preferring Playstation, but loved your book so much it was renewed (at the library). Then bookstores searched until purchased outright.
As a keen lover of books I was thrilled when he excitedly told me about the book, then proceeded to “read” it to me (ie he’d memorised it). Our favourite parts – the types of sausages/boys (to the point where I read the packaging fine print (thanks for the detail – we have a huge laugh)). Please keep writing and illustrating books.
I have finally just returned a copy of your book, “Little Boys” to our library after receiving numerous overdue notices, thanks largely to my two kids who had complete meltdowns every time I tried to return it. It finally happened today after one went for a nap and the other was distracted in the pool.
So tonight, for the first time in about 9 weeks, we didn’t have the ‘sausage book’ (as they called it) to read before bedtime and pandemonium erupted. Your gorgeous little book tickled me first and Lily, my three year old can actually recite the whole book perfectly (including the list of sausages and types of little boys, in order)! My 18mth old loves the word abruzzo and you guessed it, they agreed to try brussel sprouts! Naturally they both go “A-HA!” when they see me trying to be covert with the veg….
~ E Joyce.
