Hi There is an .ini file that controls the colours - it's a file called RPMUIColors.ini in the scripts/RPManager directory. When this file doesn't exist, RPM will create it - so you can try renaming it (or deleting) and see if that sorts it out. It looks at the current UI colours and tries to figure...
Hi If RPM is very slow to open or you see a message about maxscript memory size being increased each time you restart 3dsmax, it's very likely to be a windows permissions issue - please see this thread: http://www.jellybiscuits.com/phpBB3rpm/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5 You can test this fairly quickly...
Hi I assume you have the vray output setup (using the RPM auto vray output)? Do you also have the 'Save File' checkbox on the 'Common Params' checkbox turned off (and maybe the 'VFB' as well)? With that off max shouldn't be trying to save its own buffer, I can only think that isn't off on the networ...

If you could try changing the settings, and before submitting if you change to another pass and then back again, are the settings immediately lost? I'll see if I can reproduce the issue here. cheers, grant
Hi Firstly, that UI doesn't look correct - the pass list is narrower than it should be, I don't know why there is that gap on the right and below it. Do others see RPM like that? You might also want to update to 6.52, it has been updated for the vray 3.6 UI: http://www.rpmanager.com/installers/RPMan...
Hi It may well be a permissions problem - I'm about to add these instructions to a sticky announcement because it just sorted out two different users of RPM: That 'failed to write' result means the RPM tried to create the xml file, then afterwards it checks to make sure it existed and it wasn't ther...
That sounds like the data is fine until the scene is reopened, which is very odd. What version of 3dsmax? Also, could you set up a simple 2 pass scene that has custom settings per pass *at the time you save it*, and send me both the saved file (before reopening) and a screenshot of what the settings...
