Crash Upon Start-screen

Hi all,

After working with various midi files, I found that when importing one of them it crashed MBC and now every time I try to start up the software it immediately crashes.

I've gone through the obvious steps to try fix this: Uninstall/Reinstall, manually remove related files in AppData, run as Administrator etc but nothing seems to work.

Any helps would be massively appreciated because this has put a bit of a halt on some christmas projects.

I can't say whether or not this will fix it but you might try going to the installation directory (...program files(86) / Music Box Composer) and deleting the folder it in its entirety afterwards since very few programs will remove everything associated with the installation and often will keep cached data and/or various configuration and settings information there even after uninstalling.

About the only other thing I can think of then would be going into the installation folder, right clicking on the "MusicBoxComposer.exe" file and opening up the properties, and then try some different compatibility settings and see if any of them allow it to run. Mine's been running fine when I had Windows 7 and so far still seems to be OK after recently updating to Windows 10. If worst comes to worst I can probably help you out with at least getting the PDF's prepared for what you need on mine and PM them over.
